Green spotted puffer or indian dwarf puffer??

    I saw these at my LFS. There was no tag on the glass. i asked the guy who worked there and he told me this is a dwarf puffer but i don't think it is. Can anyone id this one plz. would like to do some research on these . Was in a hurry so just got one crappy photo. looks more yellow to me than green

    Easy to keep, just keep up the water changes and ensure that it gets the correct food items (largely consisting of snails and other molluscs, as well as crustaceans).

    Ive read they get 6". my big tank isn't brackish water. so i guess its a no go :banghead:

    Where the hell do you get all that snails,molluscs and crustaceans to feed it?

    It sure is a pretty fish...but the maintenance seems a bit too much

    It really isn't that hard to keep. As far as food goes, you could either breed your own snails in a small tub, or routinely collect snails from your LFS/LPS. Market (cocktail) shrimp are also eagerly taken by these guys, provided that you chop them up when the fish is younger.
