Hi guys!

New here, first post.

First of all, not sure which forum to post this in, so general sounded about right.

Then, after years of staying away from the game, the urge to start my aquarium again is overwhelming.
Now, having secured the funds, I went out to the LPS's in search of hardware. Need a whole new setup, but
alas the excursion was futile (I knew this upon setting out really). Why? Coz I live in Bfn! That's why. sigh..

Anyways, I'm looking for a co.za based website that sells the hardware I need. The places here are horrible tbh.

Actual aquariums I can get. It's the other stuff - filters etc that is the problem.

Any pointing of direction would be appreciated.

Look in equipment classifieds ther is a selection of 1.8 meter tanks with sumps with pumps and heaters for very cheap in Potch ?

 

i get the feeling the classifieds is where i'm going to spend a lot of my time

Hahaha, oh yes, don't get me started on MTS. Already scouted all the places in the home where the tanks are going to be To my female's total dismay.. My brother and his friend are quite avid on reeftanks, but i prefer the tropical. just love the ADA stuff.

I can only echo Lloydster. Contact our sponsors. Most of them are willing to ship, which is actually pretty competative prices. Some of them may even be prepared to give you better prices if you buy a whole lot of stuff in one go.

You may need to buy the tank in Bloem though. not really something id want to ship

 

Yeah, SA shipping and glassware.. not a big fan . Like i said, the actual tank is no problem. Can get here and I've got a lot of people who are quite expert at building tanks too. So that is sorted.

It's just the rest of the hardware... But I'll take a gander on the sponsors as soon as my boss is not frequenting my office very 5 minutes.

Thanks thanks all! Just wish there was a better stocked and informed place in Bfn to feed my addiction. Dunno, maybe on hindsight that might be good thing for my wallet..
