Does anyone know of a cheap place that has a wide variety of aquatic plants for sale in CT? Where do you guys get yours from?

If I remember correctly, all the plants were at Panorama... Otherwise, speak to the sponsors...

Nick at Hartland's Aquatics usually has nice stuff and not the ordinary things you find at other LFS's. He is in Riebeeck Kasteel though but it makes for a nice morning outing into the countryside. The red tiger lotus plant in my tank (see new members section) I got from him probably 2 years ago, as well as the "double leafed" java fern.

Do you have more detailed about this place? Especially open times and such.

Otherwise for the OP, Aqua Terra have lots of cheapies but don't mark them or anything like that.

And then of course Veegal and Zafgak have plenty, and know their stuff!

Hartlands Aquatics comes first on my list where to get awesome quality plants from. But you will actually get most of your plants via networking with fellow enthusiasts. As Phil, one tiny clipping if all you need...

Yes, I've experienced that already (thanks solex), and I think it's great way to do it. Give when you've got. I just need to cultivate enough to give ...:p

Hmmm I think the kaapies should do regular trades etc. Why not start a trade thread?
LOL I'm only suggesting this because so far I've only seen 3 plant types at the lfs... haven't been to many others, but this is dissappointing.
