    Hi All,

Im looking for some plants that can be used as foreground foliage.
I have Hygrophilia Willow, Rotala and Bacopa as my background plants, crypts and some HC (not doing 100%) as foreground plants.
I need to fill the space between the background and foreground plants as the background plants tower above the HC & Crypts.

Have some hygro difformis as a semi mid plant but its not structured enough to create a "hedge" as such.

    It looks odd.

    ATM the background plants are +- 35cm and foreground are 15cm (Crypts), i need something in the 15-25cm range and some colour wouldnt hurt;
everything is looking too green except for the ludwigia here and there.

    Thanks

Its difficult with the small pebbles in the tank, it doesn't allow the plants to sink roots in the gravel. Glosso could work, Stryrogene Repens too or even UG but those are all greens again, maybe some E tennelus?

@hein24 I really like the idea of the E tennelus, reminds me of acorus gold, used to use it a lot in landscaping.

    @
oscar freak Thank you, but i think it need some colour and filling out. Will start cutting and replanting some of the Ludwigia and Bacopa to create a full background and als going to add a black background to pop the green more.

@Dinky I like that a lot! where to get it?

@Ryno i doubt il have any issues with growing it at this stage. Il give it a try if it dies i have lost a few rands.

Thanks for all the input guys really appreciate it.

Thinking about including some vallis in the background, anyone got some or a lot they want to sell or give away?

if you have the right lighting which I think you have, it should go red copperish would break the green nicely. Tank is looking good man, hope you are planning on having it for a long while.

@sub-lime - I've been holding my breath on this side for an update but I'm starting to look like a smurf!

What plants have you decided on? I'm also eagerly anticipating the start of your Paludarium thread...

    Thanks Lep2soma; Appreciate it.

Well after a week has passed its starting to look fuller and will trip and replant some more to fill the back completely.
FTS - this is after yesterdays WC and trim due to some green brush algae.
