Please could a Goldfish boffin ID this fish for me.
It has double tails and is currently about 10-11cm long.
I bought it thinking it's a Fantail or an Oranda, but now I'm wondering because this guy is VERY active.
I thought all the fancies were more slow-moving and chilled?
If he is more of a Common or Comet variety, then he will definitely be too big for my 80cm/130l tank
    Thanks

Thanks - Someone else told me that it's a fantail crossed with either a common or comet.
He thought this because it hasn't got the typical ball-shaped body.
    Would you agree with this?
And if so, how big do you think it might grow?

Assuming your tank is 130L and you do 30% to 50% water changes per week you should be able to keep 3 maybe 4 fancy goldfish in your tank.
Also what filter do you use.
I once had a 90L tank with 4 large ranchu's, which I did frequent water changes and had a cannister filter
Feed your goldy Saki Hikari fancy goldfish pellets in the morning and blood worms in the afternoons. And they should rewards you with good growth and colors.

I personally think a red cap and oranda would complement your fantail.

That's exactly what I got - a red cap with him - looks stunning!
I am feeding Saki-Hikari Fancy 2x per day.
Brand new to goldfish, so haven't done any veg yet.
Do you mean the frozen blood worms? I will give that a go
I have an Aquael Ultramax 1000 (1000 lph) full of Matrix. And I do 40% w/c per week.
So you don't think this guy will outgrow my 130 liters?

Just place your cube of frozen blood worms in a container with water from the tank to defrost it before feeding the goldfish.

No they shouldn't outgrow your tank.

Hikari is the best, they have goldfish food for colors as well as for growth.

Seems like a strong enough filter, although a lot of people have had great success with goldfish keeping with an normal humble sponge filter only.

    Nice goldfish.

Agree - a red cap would also be nice
