Would have preferred a WP - cheetahs (Sharks B team ) final

With WP being given a rugby lesson

Gilbert, I think they were given a lesson today.
Loosing in a semi final at a packed Newlands. That's really rubbing their noses in it. LOL
So next week it is the Cheetahs vs. Morne Steyn .....

Yip, he did. Everyone loves him when he plays for the boks, but hates him when they have to play against him in the local competition. He is a brilliant player, I hesitate to say, maybe better then Naas?

    Go Sharks

Naas never reached his full potential due to isolation. It was a different era and I'm reluctant to compare the two of them. Morne put in the hard work and the boks and Bull are now benefitting from it. Looking forward to a great final, the Bulls are the better team on paper, problem is this game is played on grass.....
Amazing how the young Cheetah team destroyed the Bok-frontrow. If Straus was not injurred, the Cheetahs might have won by a much bigger margin. That said the two best teams imo are in the final. Intersting that in both games the imported stars did not feature as expected, instead at Newlands the R million a year "star" cost them a place in the final.
    Go Bulls!

PeeKay hangs his head in shame!!

Well done Cheetahs, you deserved it way more than the Sharks, you played with passion and kept your heads together. Lets hope the Sharks learn from this...

I have been a shark Supporter since I can remember.... and I will always support them till the day I die..... That said I don't understand why the sharks lost because the stats were more for the sharks, I think it is a mental thing that when we play against the cheetahs we loose our game completely. but I am not a bad sports man and I am not making excuses for the sharks at all, the cheetahs just played a better games and that is why they won so congrats to the cheetahs. I will be backing you at the final....

Sharks are like the national cricket team and the All Black rugby team...they just fold in the big matches. Always manage to beat themselves. 6 drop attempts with more than 15 mins to go? Huh? Brain explosion...

Bulls, although they didn't play well or were not allowed to play well by a WP team who defended out of their skins, know how to handle BMT. Some teams always seem to win, even if they don't play that well. Remember the great Aussie cricket teams of the last 15 years? Often put under pressure, but hardly ever lost. They just played the big points well. The ones that really mattered.
