I find the glue gun glue works extremely well with bonding plastics and other materials and I'm wondering is it fish friendly have a little bit of the stuff in contact with the fish water but I want to do some diy stuff and glue gun glue would work perfectly for the job but would be in contact with the aquarium water I would just like to know is anyone else using it and if so is it fine for the fish? Thanks.

    Don't think so.

Most reef keepers use it to bond their coral, just make sure it's dry when you apply it or it will come loose.

P.S you sure have a lot of fish for a 70 Litre Tank.

Used it before to secure pots and other glass bits .. no fatalities in the tank but it only stuck for 4 months .. suppose it would work ok for a mechanical bond but not that great on glass. What you can do is use the glue gun to place the items (small blob) then silicon it, cure and remove the glue gun's blob.

    4 neons
    3 Scissor tails rasbora
    1 Blue gourami
    4 Bronze Cory
    2 Rosy Finned tetras
    3 butterfly plecos
    3 silver hatchets

well,it really depends how many ornaments you have in your tank.i have a 100 Litre tank with only 5 fish (2 catfish sharks,1 silver dollar,1 guppy(who thinks he is a silver dollar) and a fish that i don't know about (sits upside down in the tank, looks kinda like a catfish and has a black leopard like skin))

P.S waiting for end of april so i can buy a school of neons and a few armored catfish.

haha man that stuff is hot and man when it gets onto you it burns. when I use a glue gun I keep some water close by.

on topic rather use aquarium silicone its cheap dude and not dangerous to you never mind fish .

I have a 1.2m tank with 2 angels, a eel, a ghost knife , and 6 live bearers . you have more fish than me!

lol it might be over stocked but can be fine with good filtration and water changes . but when the fish grow. . .
