Glue for Canister Plastic

    Hey Guys!

    Was away from my aquarium again for a few days and yet again my canister is damaged. fml.
    At least this time it's still pumping water :D
    The plastic where the oring seals under the clamps that attach the motor head are cracked :(
    Only saw it when I opened the filter.

    Please recommend a glue to use for this job. I used to have Bostik Glue for Hard Plastics and successfully fixed sunglass frames, but it's dried up and I want to be sure I'm buying the right glue for the job when I go to Builders tomorrow morning.

    Get a two part epoxy ... like pattex pro epoxy, this worked for me in the past for something similar

    Thanks for the advice. Was pressed for time so I did a quick job with bicycle tube strips. Canister still leaks when I tilt it to the side, but no problems otherwise. No considerable change in the water level over 12 hours.

    Will epoxy the canister filter and maybe even give it some extra bracing from the outside :D
