    HI Guys

    I saw some glass fish at the LFS this week and just wondering if the bright neon colors in them are natural or just another animal cruelty case?

    There was purple, green, orange, blue and red ones for about R30 each, but i don't want to get them if they aren't natural...

    Have only known them to be injected, saw that years ago at pet masters.... Never bought anything again except for a tube of silicone.

    @oupoot
    Those coloured glass fish have been injected with a dye.
    It is a very cruel practice. And should not be encouraged, so please don't buy those fish.

    I rather go to Loolilocks Koi Pond just down the road! Slightly, but not much less, dizzying array of fish tanks(Hey! I'm from Pretoria :D), but the times I've been there, the staff were way more helpful and concerned about the fish's well-being than at Pet Masters. And a big plus for me is all the planted tank goods and tanks on show! Love it! :)
