Bought 12 over a span of about 3 months. Only got 4 left now for about a month. Not very easy to keep in a community tank. They need a dimly lit place to hide during the day. We use water lilies & Giant Vallis for their "hiding spot"

About 6 weeks ago I managed to persuade a fish shop attendant that the glass catfish was the glass tetra and he was going to sell it to me at the glass tetra price around R12 or so. I was killed, full of laughter, but I managed to keep it in. I did not rob the shop but some1 who shopped at that store after me must have got a bargain of note.

Hi Cory, saw them there the day before yesterday, much smaller than and not anywhere near as good a condition as mine.

Would love to have been able to breed them, just dont have a seperate tank to try breed them.
