    For those of you who do not know, Henk was admitted to hospital last night for an urgent removal of appendix. He's doing well now though so he may not be online for a few days.

    Hope you feel like yourself again soon Henkie :)

    heya guys!

    thanks for all the well wishes. i'm home now with 2 holes in my bell and one in my belly button. very high on Syno Forte pain pills but other wise ok.

    The call was made ot 1600 friday afternoon to take it out. went under at 9pm and by 10pm i was out of the OR and awake. I was up and walking 8 hours after the op.

    For the Cape Tonians - if you ever have to go in for an op or anything - Netcare Blaauwberg is the place to go! It was the most amazing experiance (other than the holes in me). Nurses looked after me like i was their own child. really good stuff!

    i gues your apendix was on the "blacklist" in the world of intestines!!

    Maybe they were scared of you :blink1::bigsmile: From what you said, that wasn't a hospital stay, it was more like a 5 star hotel stay :D
