OKey everyone!!!!!! I just done some moving and replanting...... DSCF6153.jpg BUT NOT LIKING IT AT ALL...... So now I need opinions----- Should I make it a full gravel tank? have many plants I can still plant , Also I hate cleaning gravel, if I have only 4 Blue rams and about 10 guppies, how regular should the gravel be cleaned (gravel cleaner) and then uproot the plants aswell? DSCF6150.jpgDSCF6151.jpgDSCF6152.jpg Only single ones, most of them I have more of. ID will be apresiated of all plants and the wood still browning the water DSCF6168.jpg

Marius there are plenty rocks at Meiringspoort just outside De Rust, but you are living in the Klein Karoo where there are more rocks than ostriches, go take a look out of town.

@ Hawk, sorry to hear about the bad luck with the fry. :(

Hi Marius, I siphon my gravel once a week with my water changes, this should be fine, I suppose you can do it more often, but once enough water changes is good enough!

I do like Hydrocotyle, all of them, but so hard to find. Ill also take a close up of the not sure ones- Thanks.. Id like if you guys would give ideas what plants to use or think something needs to be changed, but that I think must be talked about on the planted tread? I hope so, and thanks @Hawk , the big male was stuck again, where there is a small hole he is there, but I hope I removed the last place to get stuck. @Good_Times maybe its cobomba and ambulia all look the same? but got them from difrent places . How do you know when the spawn will begin? I noticed her pink was more red yesterday , just like my "albino"Pink"convicts I had years ago when she laid eggs. Saw early today the big male, when both the other 2 was fighting and he was loosing, he swims towards the other side to get them away while they are biting him, stunning fish

Okey , did a 15percent water change , half an hour later all the rams fins looked a bit clamped and colour more dark, think the water was bit colder that I added, will this be the cause?
