German blue ram tank mate ideas?

    Hi all :)

    I currently have a 60l tank that is housing a breeding pair of GBR and 6 green fire tetras. I honestly would love a small school of rummynose here but i am worried that this tank will just be to small for them?

    Any suggestions of what i could add here without compromising water quality for my rams and not overstocking? it has a couple of pieces of driftwood and Amazon swords (if that helps with anything lol)

    I agree with you that the rummy noses might feel cramped in a 60L, they like their swim space.

    How about ember tetras or espei rasboras?
    Water probably too warm for CPDs

    Oooh the lambchops are an idea.. no the cpds really wouldn't enjoy the rams water, pity they are also nice looking fish.

    Green neons are cool - they sell in JHB at a couple places (Aqua Empire is one).
    They're smaller than rummies/ cardinals and handle similar parameters.

    speaking of compatible fish, i am going to collect a new 4ft tank this afternoon to rehome my polar blue parrot cichlids, i have 4 off them, any suggestion on tank mates? google is not great with info on this fish, many conflicting opinions.

    i will check these out now thank you whoknows :)
