Galaxy Rasbora and red gills - Normal or Cause for concern

    Hallo!

    I've noticed that my Galaxy Rasbora's gills are very red. It seems to be only on the bigger ones. I've also noticed some glancing.

    I've googled pictures of them and the red gills seems to be normal, but would just like to confirm.

    Pictures I've found below. Mine is too fast to take pics of.

    I'd rather be safe than sorry.

    Ammonia levels in check.

    Either Ammonia or Chlorine,if you rule those out then it's probably normal.

    Some danios also have transparent gills so red gills are usually normal for them since you can see the blood flowing through them/

    If you suspect ammonia, add some prime ASAP did you check and test your water?
