FX6 Replacement Hose

    Hi guys,

    I am SUCH an idiot. I decided the hose on my Fluval FX6 filter was too long but I went and cut the wrong end.
    Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement hose urgently in SA? I'm not winning on Google.
    I live in Durban and will obviously pay for shipping. I just need it urgently because my tank is now without a filter.

    Can't you just buy the right size braided vinyl hose from the LFS or builders warehouse?

    Thanks for the suggestion but I don't think so, it has rubber end pieces which are not detachable, they fit over the tap on the actual pump.
    I'm nervous to try and fix it in case it springs a leak while I'm out the house and syphons all the water out my tank (it's a 750l tank).

    Good point. Maybe go to builders and look for washing machine outlet hose it has rubber pieces on the ends too

    Order it from LFS. They will phone suppliers and check for stock availability and order it. Some store might ask for deposit or upfront payments. I orderd fx6 filter sponges.
