Not it is not a STD, nor does the post fit into the diseases topic. Was taking some pictures of the fern growth in lucky 13 .. see xmas is early in my tank. Anybody have a clue on what this fungus is or how one gets rid of it ...

Some tanks details: Heater none, lights 1 T5 28W, filtration plants and a water polisher with some purigen.

What has changed? Well cooked most of the tank a few weeks back, but plants seem ok, if not better after the ordeal. New fish yes some badis badis and now feeding frozen food 4 x per week.

    Thanks Ferdie

    Ja, long year ...

Could be, I am really not sure. This weird a spreading ever so slightly, wondering should I nurse it or clean it. None of the fish seem to be bothered by it or go for it. Even the OTO's let it be.

I will look for more pics no the web, see if I can spot something that looks the same. Ag maybe I just need to do a BIG WC quickly.

    Later Ferdie

It looks more like a parasite to me? Something that builds a web. See the white splodges that look like bugs? Chop the affected leaves off and see if you can control it...

Ok a better in tank pic, You might just be right about the parasite idea. BTW the splodges do not move, but that does seem like a way to distribute itself.
