    Hello All.

I noticed a funny blister like growth on some plants leaves, and they pop when you press them.
Can some help me out regarding what this could be? And how do I get rid of it?

Thought so. These were or I plant I got, I think. And yes I have 1 Apple snail I bought and a S.h.1.t load of small black / brown sails that came with Aqii's tank.
I tried to remove them, but would never in 1000 years be able to get them all. So what now?

Most loachs will eat snails if they have too. Don't feed for a few days and it should start eating the snails instead.

Hehe, I had snail eggs on my internal filter on the bottom and on the plastic breeder. I usually kill the eggs, try to wipe out snails from the start. Everytime you see new snails, take them out because they can become a pest. Also when you buy new plants, make sure to remove snails on them.

If I recall, they are the guys that love eating plants - best you try and get rid of them - think they like plants more than most of the snails we typically find in our tanks. Hitchhikers from aquariums and LFS would include ramshorn snails and malaysian trumpet snails I do not remember seeing an apple as a hitchhiker.

BTW in the past I have found tanks that I used Trelmix on had less chance of any snail infection - suppose it is the Cu, not saying you need to add this to your chemical cocktail, but an observation.

    Hey All.

Tonight I have noticed these suspicious eggs?
I have place 4 leopard Danio’s in the tank last week from my small tank to help with the cycling. These were not there last night?
    Could they be fish eggs?

    Thanks in advanced.

And BTW, I found a cool
advice regarding the snails. Clip a peace of lettuce in the tank and leave it overnight.
There should be snails on it tomorrow morning. Will keep you posted.

If I remember correctly, apple snails lay pink eggs out of water??

I agree with @f-fish about the Cu (copper). Kills most inverts. Moreso, CuSO4 - Copper Sulphate. Before I knew about the blacklist, I learned this the hard way with some shrimp I had for feeding to my polypterus. I had them in a planted tank with some moss which I wanted to grow. I added ferts (cheap stuff) etc.... only to realize it had CuSO4!!!

Another tip is to check your filter. If you have an external canister or HOB, I'm more than certain that there are some baby snails jolling inside there...

One other option is to get assassin snails to kill the snails that you're having issues with. They look much better than those brown ugly things!
