All,

Have a few items taking up space.

1x 3ft tank (no leaks or cracks), black plastic lid, light fitting and stand.
1x 2ft tank (no leaks or cracks), black plastic lid, light fitting and stand.
1x 4ft Stand, was made for me. needs a coat of paint but otherwise its level and very strong.

Tanks look good but they have some white calcium streaks on them, but a little vinegar works wonders to remove
Tanks are empty and ready to go.

Also have a 15cm Pleco (black with light irregular stripes) and a rope fish +- 25cm.
These guys are just not workign well in the planted tank so they need to go.
Will swop the fish for a baby pleco and neons. open to offers?

Make me a reasonable offer for the lot

Yes, but it is only the tank, stand, lid and if the light is still working you can take it too. ps that is the 3ft.

 

Hello, just wanted to know about the pleco. I stay in Randburg and very interested in the pleco and rope fish, what you you consider to be a good price for both? :rofl:

the 4ft stands dimensions look nonstandard - is that 121 x 45 (what I think of as standard) or 120 x 50?

I didn't like how low the stock stands were as i have the tank as a feature in the dining room and when you sit on the dining room chair and looked at the tank it looked like you were looking down at it instead of straight on.

 

Update on Pleco, it is a Spotted Sailfin Pleco. I could be mistaken though..

and as far as i know they are the common ones but i find they more hardy than the really rare ones

so i spoke to my guy at my lps and they selling plecos around that size for about R100 -R110 and the rope fish at about R125 to about R140 so i was thinking if i offered you R200 for both and we could meet half way what you think?

 

i am keen on the 3 foot - but no clue what to offer

@Relborg..Lowballer lol, R600 for tank, stand, lid, light fitting. Sounds fair Il clean the white off the tank this afternoon.
TBH im not here to make millions just want to sell the items at a fair price.

 

@Relborg i have various extras like gravel, fake plants you can take, they not worth much but hey they come free
