The dead coral looking piece is approx. 54cm long x 24cm high x 17cm in depth.....

Did these came out of your tank and have they finished leaching? Do you know what type of wood it is?

 

The driftwood in the top picture with the rocks definitely will not leach, as that came out my new tank when I bought it and the previous owner had it in the tank for years.

The driftwood in the second picture was part of a bunch that I bought from an angelfish breeder a while ago. (they were all apparently in his tanks).
I am currently using 2 pieces in my 1.5ft small tank, and 1 piece leached.
I'm also soaking another 3 pieces that I may be using in my new tank, but when I put them in the bath they sank straight to the bottom and I havent seen any discolouration.....
As far as what wood it is, I cant say...some pieces are pretty damn hard though, especially the piece on the left in the second pic.
