    Hi all

As mentioned previously, I have discontinued my breeding of this species to make space for other ones...

I have a breeding trio for sale - one male and two females, fully grown. An easy to maintain fish and easy to breed as raise fry as well.

I also have many juveniles for sale at R20 each.

I would like some - don't mind juvies as long as I end up with some males. My females are very lonely by now! When can I come by?

@Ebi Omer They are still smallish but have already sexed out. Going rate is R150 - R300 per TRIO, one male two females. This is the best combination to keep them in. I ask R150 per trio for these... The nice thing about getting sub-adults is that you watch them grow and colour up...:)

haha @OBI depends what community, I tried for a week before finding a compatibility chart they are not compatible with your guppies, mollies or fin-ish fish etc, corys, catfish and plecos should be fine.

I would suggest finding a chart, but they are beautiful and quite energetic kept in a large tank, I have 8x 1cm small fry now that just appeared 2 weeks after I took the kilifish out.

    Lovely fish!

ok so I take it back, dunno why I had Mollies as non compatible, just had it in my head, they did give my guppies a go!

So High Compatibility seem to be Catfish, Danio, Molly, Plecs, Rainbow fish, and Swordtails.

Sorry @francoisve, didn't mean to hijack your post!

@OBI certainly they can. The chart @Krefie posted names Killifish - but there are 1300 species and obviously they do not all have the same temperament so what applies to some would not to the other... The golden rule is to have only one male to at least two females or more females, or lots of males only. The other golden rule that I am sure apples to most fish is not to have them establish territories, ie have some other fish, bottom dwellers, mid range and top dwellers as well as hiding spaces like rocks and plants... I have the three Epiplatys Dageti Monroviae that @Krefie gave back in my community tank at work and not a single problem... Which ones are you interested in?

The Epiplatys Dageti Monroviae do great in my community tank. Top dwellers and peaceful. Aphyosemion Australe Orange a bit more lively but wonderful characterful fish...
