Froze Brine Shrimp used in store

So I go into the pet store today and get some frozen brine shrimp. The guy that looks after the fish says no no no, take this one and put it in my hand. I get home and open the box and it's been used! I guess the lesson is to check the box before you leave the store.

I'm not going to name the store just yet because I'm going to give them a chance to redeem themselves. If they fight me I'll name and shame them.

 

Dude. That is defnitly not on. For the price the stuff goes for you would at least expect to get what you paid for.

Maybe it was a genuine mistake.... after all why would he make it so obvious and say no.. no.. take this one?
Could it be he got the boxes mixed up and thought the one you originaly had was the open one???

Lets see what happens..

 

Hopefully they come to the party, and rectify their mistake.
I use that product for my shrimp, and for quite some time it wasn't available.

Hoping just an honest mistake. But now you have the cost of having to return to the store. Unless you leave it until your next visit

 

Perhaps give them a call and explain what happened.
You will have an immediate answer, without the additional cost of driving through to the store.

 

i hope you retained your slip or they will deny it.
