    Hey guys

I like posting my fish pics here, so I thought I'd share one of my favourites - Gymnothorax tile. He's really a brackish fish, and I really recommend them to anyone who can get their hands one them!

BTW: Thank you to Shivean for this guy, if you're reading this. He's a great specimen

I'm actually not too sure, haven't kept a record, but a few months at least, lets says somewhere over 4 months...

    Alright, tank details:
4 ft tank, water level slightly reduced
Filtered by 2 Resun internal filters (2800 model)
Lots of rocks and pipes for hiding

I feed him either once or twice a week, depending on how much he eats on the first night of feeding. He will only eat bait squid (the previous owner said he ate live fish as well, as you'll see in a moment).

At the moment, he's with a lone longspine glassfish. There used to be a school, but only the one survived. I added more to make the school again, and again only the one survived. One headless body was found...

Quite sadly... I wanted to get some tankmates so I have something to look at while he's hiding, but he's sooo cool I'm almost alright with him hogging the tank to himself.

Thanks so much Ferryman  All you really got to do is invest in a good camera, and then spend some time fiddling with it, and learning as you go along. I've also learnt a lot from several photography forums - it helps looking at others' methods and attempting to apply it.

Do you currently have him in a freshwater or brackish setup?
    What are the size specs?

    Thanks all :)

He's currently in a brackish setup, at an SG of 1.010, although this can be slightly higher or lower after water changes.
I mentioned the tank specs on the previous page, if you want more info. If you're asking about the fish size, he's around 2 feet now (60cm).

Technique helps, but a dSLR and a nice macro lens helps a LOT...

Very cool fish btw, I'm not allowed one though :p
