Yes, don't buy these guys. They are terribly invasive.

I believe they are on the b l
and also, they are not community tank friendly, they will catch and eat fish.

Yeah saw a vid on YouTube where these guys caught a freshwater puffer. Strange how a LFS store tried to sell me these claiming they stay small and is suitable for community tanks - when I tried telling them different they still insisted I was wrong...

There are many different species of freshwater crayfish. Many are suitable for aquariums, some are very tasty.

Do do you know which type the lfs had?

Also some LFS sells BL species... So you might end up buying them, they breed and you unknowingly sell BL species...

Hi guys please educate me on this what is BL? And why are crayfish on this? I have had my tanks for 3 weeks and try and read as much as possible about it. I currently have green spotted and figure 8 puffers but keep the crayfish in a separate tank. Thanks

I also caught one in a local inlet. I was too scared to eat it though. Maybe next time I'll give it a go

Are these still blacklisted? I don't see the electric blue crayfish (Procambarus alleni) on that list anyway?
