Is it a good idea too put a gourami with a catfish??

if you intend for the gourami to be food, yes.

Asian sun catfish grows to be 45 cm big. Ideally they are kept in a group, though they do ok singly. Huge. Absolutely huge. And fast too, within a year most people have a fish far too big for whatever aquarium they can provide.

Neon dwarf gourami? Maybe 5cm. Very much the size the catfish will eat.

 

Just to echo what @Nina_W said, I've seen a small asian cat (12cm) swallow a large male convict whole in a petshop
