Geez!!!... choosing a topic to post under is usually half the battle won, but since there is non for jargon rubbish, let's take it from here.

The topic "Hmmm"!!, actually caused me to make a revelation that I'm not very proud of, but it did happen, so this is my truth (or dare) in "What's the worst thing you've ever done to yer fish"??...

One night, (I was about @?/*&een) years old at the time, I wondered how my fish would react if I feed them some wine....so, I did feed them some wine, and the immediate reaction did not afford me enough time to make the required water changes in time.... (it was a big 5ft x 2ft x 2ft angle ironed tank) I lost some , (or the most) & really saw no other action than dying fish...

What unadvisable (surely not repeatable), silliest thing have you ever done to your aquarium / come fish??... Tell us or streak down your main street in broad daylight.

A few years ago, when I first dabbled in freshwater, I decided I was going to convert my tank to a marine tank. So I brought home a starfish and a hermit grab which I found n the rockpools at Gansbaai. They survived the trip, but when I got home and put them into the tank they died almost instantly. It was a VERY VERY idiotic thing to do, and I still don't know what possessed me to do it.

The wors thing I ever did ... I drained my 400l tank to about 3/4 empty...This was after a Anti Ich blue treatment.... I then commenced to fill the tank again...needles to say I forgot the temperature of the borehole water was 16 degrees c. My Bala sharks immediately convulged...as well as the Tinfoil barbs.... I managed to save all exept one Bala shark.....eish...

I am a biker. To finally get My full colours in the club I had to
except and execute dares given by the committee members.

My advice to you is: Give up the fishkeeping now ..OR ...give up drinking (even if it may be wine).

Yes Asgar!.... This is now (approximately) 40 years later, (and still drinking) and I've had debatable success in fishkeeping...... Let's not judge anyone for an impulsive (stupid) act, which they regretted afterwards.....

I repeat my original request.... Anything you have done which is not advisable or never to be repeated again..... Let's not judge the act... some things even happens accidentially..... (stuck heater boiling out your fish etc.)
