Fish tank breeding hatchery nursery

    wouldnt advise getting it one of these, the female's get stressed and sometimes don't drop and its too confined, its all very good theoretically but not practical. most of the time you end up losing the female. rather add more plants or get a small tank

    I agree with @Caudelia,

    Apparently these small nursery boxes are very stressful on the mother.

    A small tank with lots of plants. Pop the mother in, and as soon as she has given birth to the babies, take her out again.

    I was going to get a breeding trap when i saw my platy was pregnant was advised against it, just left everything as is I don't even have floating plants just a fair amount planted and most of my babies have survived
