    Hi everyone

Thanks for all the suggestions regarding my tank!

I won't be going the discus route anymore but based on some of the advice I have received, I have thought of the following fishes:

    Dwarf Gouramis
    Guppies
    Tetras
    Cory Cats or Kuhli Loach

I have seen Kuhli Loaches at the LFS and I must say that I would love to have them. Just not sure if my substrate would suit them.

Is there any particular order in which I should do this? I will obviously stock over time and not all at once :p

Those should all work fairly well together, I think the guppies like slightly harder water. The others will be cool with soft water. Not sure about the temps, you can look them up.. They are all quite peaceful, the Dwarf gouramis might go for colourful guppys. how big is your tank?

    Hi Gaawie

    The tank is approx. 128 litres (800L x 400D x 400H).

Do you think there might be some issue between the guppies and the dwarf gouramis?

    Thanks :)

If you keep the tank around neutral you should have very few problems. One thing with kuhlis: You won't see them for most of the time you have them. Also, they can rip themselves up on the wrong type of gravel. But, if its sand, you won't see them much at all but at least they'll be happy.

id say guppies are nice why not try swordtailsand sail fin mollies too?
grab some corydoras skip on the khuli loaches.
could also get angels in the mix they are calm and great to watch .
gouramis are docile just don't mix with fin nippers that will have a go at them .

keep your ph constant that's it , if you use ph neutral regulater go for it but rather measure your ph first and tell us then go from there .

I don't think there will be issues with the Guppys and the Gouramis, it depends on stocking levels. If it over crowded, the gouramis might tend to chase the other fish, regardless of what they are.
