Fish constipation

    Hi all you wonderful fish keepers!

    It appears one of my Danios is constipated :wacko:. Does anyone know of a simple & effective solution to ease the constipation?

    Daphnia works as a laxative... but question? Isnt it maybe a female that is just full of eggs and ready to breed?

    I don't think so. The fish is quite bloated/fat and there appears to be a mass/ball of fecal matter at the anus/vent.

    Martin - Please take a pic... it will make things a lot easier... My guess so far may be an ovarian cyst...

    What would cause the prolapsed anus?

    Epson salt is for constipation,
    you can try it and see if it works.
