Fire extinguisher c02

    Hi all,
    I'm looking into getting a c02 system. One that I have seen sold secondhand is a fire extinguisher c02 cylinder with a regulator. Has anyone had experience with these kinds of systems? How much should they cost? Any issues to be aware of?

    Its the most economical way to go. I have a 5kg c02 system, refill once a year @ R185. Ista brand is crap and wouldnt wish it on anyone.

    Cost should around R1-1.5k depending on size of the extinguisher and the brand of regulator

    Is that price what you would expect new?
    Also, where have you seen them sold new?

    Not new, 2nd hand. A SAGA regultaor new would cost R2k+- You get different brands of regulators but you get what you pay for. A new 2kg fire extinguisher is around R600.
