filters for 300l

i have a 300 litre that i want to get a sump for
i just dont know the best type
could anyone help me with types

 

Fluval 305 or 405 if you need the extra capacity, its a canister filter
Eheim also do stuff.

 

is it a biofilter

It all depends on how you load the trays

Depending on who you get it from the Fluvals cost anything between 1900 - 3000 for a 305.
The Eheims are cheaper, and I've seen for about 1500.00

you could buy and old 60cm tank .put 3 dividers in add a 2000lph pump some pipes and you have a 30 l sump extra 10% water to your system
and you decide on the amount flow, of cotton ,ceramic rings bio balls and carbon to use depening on what you will stock in the tank ,and it wont cost you more than 500bucks even less

look under sump in the search section there are a couple of read ups or try google diy aquarium sump

the water flows out the top tank thru a pipe into the sump.up and over the 1st chamber and down and thru your media in 2nd chamber and under the 3rd into the pump back in to yiur tank.
maike sure the pipe on top only goes slightly into the water so that if there is apower failure gravity wont drain your tank and flood your lounge.
make sure the pump has a head hieght high enough to pump at the same rate as the water goes in .thats an easy sump if you like D.I.Y snd are prepeard to play around with it untill you get it wright

? you could get a tetratec for 300 liters for 1599 and possibly a cascade or sumtin i bought mine [tetratec1200] for 1700.. you live in CT met die snoek why dont you look for a advert on gumtree or sumting you can get killer deals there ,second hand is gret as long as you check it out ,try it you might get luky
