    Sorry hope not that this is or was a previous thread but I would like to know what kind of fertilizer I can use in my tank that wont cost a arm and a leg because my plants are growing in normal pool filter sand but the colour of the leaves is light in colour

    seachem TRACE, thats what i use with great results, and they make a organic liqued CO2 Flourish excel, works for me, and u can get it at the local fish store at the nursery in paryslaan

    I found dirk's dripples are good and wont break the bank, i also use just filter sand in a few tanks and my plants seem happy enough

    Absolutely agree Reafer. The Prof's druppels are FANTASTIC and extremely reasonably priced. Add to this the fact that it is manufactured for SOUTH AFRICA'S water conditions and you have a winner :D

    Dirk Bellstedt sells it .... The difference in plant growth we noticed in a four day period was outta this world!

    I have my plant is pool filter sand as well and they seem to be doing ok but I think I need to get hold of this Prof and see if he won't send me some of the plant grow stuff..... lol

    i wanted to get Prof's pricelist, sent him my email, just waiting for response,

    plus, need to find out what postage to Pta will work out, maybe me and morak can chip in on a once-off postage package. Just need to get that pricelist from the prof
