    I'm looking for a 2xfemales for my Malawi Cichild (Metriaclima sp"msobo")

    yes really as i only have the male of this fish will buy from anyone willing to sell anyone one in cpt. i do have picture of the male and the female but dont know how to post pics on site

    nah all cool been to the petshop where i got him and a female(dead) but they dont have any of this species anymore. hopefully some local malawi cichild lovers will be able to help here in capetown

Origin: Magunga, Lundu, Ndumbi, Pombo Rocks, Tanzania Habitat: Shallow Precipitous Rocky Habitat Diet: Herbivore Gender Differences: Dimorphic Breeding: Maternal Mouthbrooder Temperament: Aggressive Conspecific Temperament: Aggressive Maximum Size: 5.5" Temperature: 78 - 82°F pH: 7.8 - 8.6 Water Hardness: Hard Difficulty: 3 Comments: M. "Msobo" is another zebra cichlid. Males have a blue/black base color with light blue bars and spots against the dorsal fin. Females are orange/yellow. This species is found in the higher areas of the lake . It feeds on algae and plankton. When hungry it will also eat the plants in your tank. Males dig holes against the rocks and will protect them at all cost. Hope this helps..

    they were in parlands but moved. they are now close to bayside mall, tableview, capetown

    You can also try contact Sarf or Rowland here on TASA as they have some stunning Malawi's as well and if they can't help you will most likely be able to head you off in the right direction :)

    Is this not same as a Melanochromis Johannii? I have 2 x males in my tank. I did not realize that the female was so opposite of the male!
