So I decided to give my Archers a bit of a varied diet, something a bit different from the usual crickets and mealworms. Then I read that silkworms are apparently packed with nutrients.

My wife then goes off and gets me like a gazillion little worms from our kids' school, only to find a week later that the Archers refuse to eat them!

The vegetarians of my tank, the Silver Dollars, love them though.... They also managed to get hold of a nice big cricket that the Archers missed and had a ball pulling the poor insect to pieces.

Soooo, anyone looking for some silkworms?(Seriously though, do shout if you want some)

I wouldn't feed silkworms to fish.
Once tried mealworms with my SA cichlids and they made a mess and fouled the water while the fish picked at them.
    Something "crunchy" is better

Strangely enough, tthe archers quite enjoy the mealworms. They swallow them whole, so no mess, no fuss.
