Okay, my worms are flourishing and so are my fish.

I've been experimenting on feeding my fish the worms.

My Galaxy Rasbora (Dario Dario), Threadfin Rainbows and Scarlet Badis have a feast. I decided to test it in a community tank and my endlers had a ball. My neons soon caught on but my Apistos are just gulping because everything else is gulping. Lol!

At first my Betta male did not recognize it as food, the realization that it was food dawned on him today and it was a pleasure watching him go after the worms.

Tested it in my big tank this afternoon. My betta females and my platy realizes that something is happening because I stuck my finger in the tank, but as for how many worms they manage to consume I'm not sure. It's a little bit harder for me as well to keep track of the worms to see if they pick at them or just pick because the endlers and rasbora are feeding.

What is amazing to me is the enhanced colour of my rasbora and my threadfins. With the rasbora it's especially noteworthy because I have them in more than one tank so it's easy to compare.

Now comes the questions - will these worms be a good source of food for my grown fish and to which extent do I run the risk of overfeeding them on the worms?
How often do I have to get a new culture going? Does it matter if the culture becomes runny or is that the cue that I have to start up a new batch?

    Thank you!

I chopped up some oats, cooked it, spread the worms on it and added some yeast. Hope I did it right.

They are multiplying like crazy but the fact that the culture gets runny so soon worries me. Should I perhaps put it in a cooler spot?
