February 2013 Tank of the month competition entries - post ém here....

Please start posting entries and nominations for the February Tank of the month competition here.

Please note that a written dated verification picture must be provided or the entry will not be accepted.

The February competition will close for entries and nominations on 13/14th February 2012 when voting will start and the winner will be announced on 28th February 2013.

Wow!!... Just wow!!!.... I do this competition on 2 other (international) forums as well.... and I must say..... insofar as the South African entries are concerned.... (in this catagory) ..... we are well in the lead and.... I am going to take the liberty to post our TOTM entries (for January - and this one).... just to show.... (brag) on the other forums about our standards)...... They will be in awe!!!

i don't know what the rule is if there is only one entry for TOTM it would really be sad case if @ivan 's tank was disqualified as a result of no competition so im posting this just to make sure competition is on and he gets the recognition he deserves for this tank. its really awesome work.

You have a very nice tank, will look awesome once all of that moss covers the whole tank and gets trimmed.

 

thank you, yes definetly need a good trim, for now im just letting it bush up and cover that whole background, any advice on keeping moss healthy and fluffy?

 

waterchanges, good flow and good trimming.
the trimming need to be done almost to the base so that all the strands can start to grow at equal pace. after that you just keep it trimmed the way you like it.

 

oh ok,but should i wait till the moss has attached properly before i give it a good trim?

I am new to TASA so please excuse my ignorance.I would like to know if a tank with BL plants in can be entered into TOTM comp.
