    Hey forum,

I wanted to create a fun thread with a poll to see what kind of wet friends people love to keep or would love to keep if they currently are unable to. I know there are so many types so the poll is basic. Please feel free to post a little message of what you love about this hobby in terms of livestock and why.

    I'll start
I struggle to pick a favourite out of the livestock I have but in no particular order here we go. I have freshwater setups.

    Peppered Corydoras
What a treat these little fellows are. Rummaging around the bottom of the tank they are just the cutest ever. I literally watch my little guys for hours until my wife moans. They're quite shy but have come to know me and will happily forage for food while I watch.

    Red Cherry Shrimp
I actually love all my shrimp. I have about 30 shrimp in a species only tank, Armano, Pumpkin and Red Cherry.. Fascinating little fellows who are always busy. I love the way these little creatures swim and the watching their breeding cycle is also amazing.

    Assassin snails
Call me weird but these guys rock. I have 5 altogether and of course the remains of any pond snails foolish enough to hitchhike their way into my tanks. Sometimes you don't see them for a while as they are fairly active at night and prefer to hide away in the substrate but if you catch them eating or mating it can be a truly entertaining watch.

I also keep Bronze Corydoras, Female Bettas (also love these), 1 Male Betta, albino bristlenose pleco, several guppies and a few Neon Tetras.

I'm still new, haven't had a tank for a full year yet.. But I love it! I'd would love to one day have a nice big tank for the lounge with arowanas or cichlids! Arowanas are such fascinating fish!

Definitely Aphyosemion Australia Orange Killifish. By far the best fish I’ve kept. Their faces and personalities are just the cutest. :p

Love my flame dwarf gourami. His new tankmates are a couple of neon tetras - good colour match and their small size accentuates the gourami.

For my new tank the current top candidates are:
    - Some of my sunset wagtail platys
    - Zebra angels (2)
    - Panda corys
    - Diamond tetra
    - Ottos
    - Khuli loaches

Might have to drop a species as I'd like to keep decent numbers of each. Choices choices.

Thanks dude! Often newbies to the hobby have no idea of the fascinating characteristics and colours of fish.. This thread aims to tackle that a bit.
We all have different tastes and opinions so it is great to see the variety.

My favorite is watching my Fancy Goldies following my movement and begging for food xD

Second is watching my Corydoras sterbai playing up and down the spraybar flow, they are a very social fish and interact with each-other.

Cories certainly are a joy to watch. I have 4 bronze cories in one tank and 4 peppered cories in the other. Most different in character as well. My Bronze cories love to hide and stay in the corners. The peppered cories are always about.
