Dude... Love the video... This was my first time hearing of a Paludarium... Good justification for having it as well.. I wouldn't keep the terrestrial organisms either. The planted section is really awesome. I really like your Green Terror, Jack Dempsey and Bristlenose. Great work. Looking forward to more updates.

    Thanks @MariaS :)

@Reedfish Thanks. Yeah since November last year. 3 SA cichlids and 3 CA cichlids. I have some of them in another tank for now. Thinking of going full SA for this one. Has that vibe about it.

Beautiful! I did a DIY on my first 'big' (100L) tank and was very happy with it. Been considering it for my 240L. Decided I wouldn't, but after seeing this beaut of a tank, I may just reconsider!

    Awesome work!

Thanks! It was a lot of work for such a big tank but it paid off :) The only fault in my plans was building the background and then deciding to put in a sump... Don't do that.

    March 2018 Update:

Paludarium still running like a dream. I have kept the Oscar and Nicaragua cichlid. They seem to get along fine for now and each of them have their own hiding places on either side of the tank. I have 4 albino Ancistrus, 2 Yoyo loaches, 2 Pepper corries and 1 Syndontis catfish as tank mates. They have all been together for 6 months now and no problems yet.

Hey @jerry.singh.9022 that's cool man but it looks like an aquarium not a paludarium?

Thanks Maria. Yeah been busy! The Oscar has such a cool personality. Loves it’s tank but I’m surprised how much it likes staying under the ledge. I would love to study them in the wild to see if they exhibit similar behaviours.

In general Oscars do have awesome personalities, I love them
My very first fish years ago were Oscars.
I have one at the moment, very similar to yours but I have had to move him temporarily to one of Cesar's tanks as he is obviously territorial and was scaring my 3 young ray pups.
He leaves the big rays alone though so once mine get a bit bigger, I will bring him back
It would be an awesome experience to study them in the wild.. I must be honest its something I would love to do full time if I could.. Oscars and a few other fish..
