:smile1: eishkom is having a fine time playing with my head...

Monday night, no power from 12 till 8 am...

Last night, out from 1 till 5.

Thank goodness I have Microbelift SpecialBlend in my box of tank goodies! (and a brain trained to wake me when the filters stop or start running)

    THANKS @Henk Hugo!!!

Love my battery operated air pumps, had no electricity for 5hrs yesterday... In with the air pumps, wrapped the discus tank in a blanket and still had happy fish when they restored the power!

yup! I'm with you both, @azurekoi and @Barry.M - except when its midnight... then the blankies are easy enough to manage, but fiddling around with my diy filter bucket for all the media is asking a bit much!!! LOL! THAT's when it's really nice to know I have some bottled backup!

I think my wife wants to put me IN the earth sometimes...

Our power was out for 8 hours the other night and all the fish were fine. Even the new apistos... Very glad about that. Been looking into a genny for a while though...

LOL - remember to butter the toast only AFTER you've taken it out the toaster
