Eheim Filters

Does anyone know where to get the Ehiem range of filters? I'm looking in particular for the external canister filters for nano tanks. I don't want the big guns for this little project I'm working on, as the tank is a Jebo R338.

I had a similar thread a few weeks ago, ended up asking a local lfs to import one for me...please note that they are fairly expensive.

very expensive pumps best bet would be to order online or as Ruan mentioned get a lfs to order for you. i had a little one that broke it was a very nice pump, hence the price i guess. the classic range might be a better option

 

Speak to Dolphin. He could get the smaller Eheim's. Let us know what pricing you get?

So the nano is no longer going to be an algae farm then? You using it for what I think you are?

 

Wish Eheim had a agent here in South Africa, that would have made life alot easier....

 

Yup... And it's already setup, with an HOB filter already. But I want to replace the HOB with the Eheim.

I don't want the classic range... I'm looking for something specific. I've spoken to the most expensive shop in Joburg and they are CRAZY with their prices. But if that's the only place, then that's the only place...

 

many many of us wich that being such a popular pump and known for having great realiabilty and performance it really is suprising that the pumps are not readily stocked in LPS

sigh, why cant our local petmasters be more like that one you guys are always referring to. Ours is dodgy with a steady supply of dead fish and dusty crusty hardware boxes from the 60's...

Eheim Eco Pro 2032?

+/- R1500 last time I checked...

 

Cool Dolphin, I got my Eheim Classic 2215 for R1300, I should maybe have opted for the Eco, it has media trays...

Slagter, I am really impressed with Eheim, I know the classic range is no thrills, but it is sturdy design, silent and alot of filter volume. Unfortunately I only received the sponges with my filter, but I improvised and used silk stocking to put activated carbon and sintered glass in, water is crystal clear.

Would really recommend Eheim if you have the cash.

 

Yeah, I've only ever heard good things. Hence the move to eheim.

 

I have a few eheims - Pro3, Pro3E, various classics and one internal - great filters
