Effects of charcoal of fertlizers

    Good morning Professor,

    I refer you to my previous private correspondence with regards to activated charcoal effects on (1) your fertilizer and (2) commercially produced fertilizer.

    The members requested me to move all the discussions regarding this topic to a new thread, and ask for your input, rather than getting yourself to reply in that particular thread, as it was off-topic.

    Could you clarify the effects of A/C on
    (1) Fertz
    (2) whether they be organic/inorganic or any other "ganic"
    (3) Chelated Iron
    any other "stuff" that goes into fertilizers?

    Could you also perhaps clarify why certain fertilizer's recommend you to take the A/C OUT your filter?
