Three weeks ago my corys spawned, i saved about 200 eggs of which two hatched and they died the next day. So on friday my corys spawned, i only have one female albino cory one albino IMG_0665.jpgmale, four bronze males and four peper corys not sure on sex.
Only one female laid eggs, i watched the whole process. I saved 431 eggs thinking maybIMG_0666.jpge i'll have a few babies and that i might get a few to survive, all but 20 eggs hatched on sunday. I now have 400 plus baby corys albino and bronze.IMG_0654.jpgWill post pics of the babies when they are a bit bigger.

Thanks @shihr. What do you want them for they are NOT feeder fish. So nobody with big hungry lugs to feed need offer to take them off my hands LOL. When they are a bit bigger i will be offering them on TASA

I moved the eggs before they hatched so they are in their own tank.

Thanks, i didn't know, i just happened to notice that they were more active than usual and because of that i kept an eye on them. So i saw when they started spawning the first time but i was totally unprepared, i think thats why i lost all the first ones. I then did some reading and learn't that they should spawn again in two to three weeks. I setup a tank for the babies and waited till they were really active again, and kept a hawk-eye on them. Luckly i work from home because mine seem to spawn first thing in the morning and it takes them about three hours.
Speak to @10i he seems to be the cory expert on the forum. Hopefully you have some luck soon.

No @shihr you have to gently roll the eggs off the glass, they are very sticky and they stick to your finger then you just touch them onto the glass of your other tank or as i did one of those guppy breeding boxes that are no good for anything else. You just lightly touch the egg onto the glass and it sticks. I then moved the breeding box over to the other tank and let them hatch and then released them into the tank.

PS this take a long time.
