Dwarf Gouramis

Advice please?

I have lost four Dwarf Gouramis and a clown loach in one week. There is no obvious health issue, no marks on their bodies from an aggressive tank mate. They seem to float near the top of the tank for a day or two then slowly tilt in the water, and then die a few hours later. no bloating or any obvious ailment.
The rest of the fish in the tank are fine and healthy, levels are all fine. they all came from the same LFS. Is it possible they had worms?
Any Advice would be welcome.

 

Parasites is always a possibility, therefore it is suggested that newly acquired fish go into a quarantine tank for a few weeks before introducing into your general population.

 

Thanks Pezulu. any advice on medicine i can add to rid the tank of any parasites?

 

Without knowing what possible infestation you have the best would probably be a broad spectrum medication.
Something like ParaGuard or similar should do the trick.
