    Hello all.

I was wondering can I keep only one of these 1 x male dwarf gourami (Trichogaster lalius)

I have got 9 a rosyfin tetras, 6 x Kerri Tetras and 6 x Pristella Xray Tetras with 5 peppered cories in my 96liter corner pentagon tank.

Can I add one of these beautiful fish as my center piece species.

    Please advise.

NB!!! I do run 2 filters 1 x Aquaclear 200 and 1 x Dolphin F-1200 internal filter, will be adding 1 x sponge filter aswell at the end of the month for even more filtration.

    Thanks.

Howzit...Gouramis are normally found in stangnant and slow moving waters. So Dwarf Gouramis like most gouramis prefer average to little water movement. Dwarf gouramis also like lotsa plants.

You can keep Gouramis with those fishes that you have mentioned.
Please be careful when you select gouramis, They tend to get constapation and dropsy alot
Also if the stock is from Singapore, they have a 23% of a deadly virus.
I always say to people, rather visit the petshop and make sure they have been there for 2-3 weeks.
once pass that stage, you are pretty safe... this is one fish that you dont want to pick up on the first
    few days when it lands.
I am not saying they will always die but earlyer this year there were batch that contained virus and
LOTS and I say again LOTS have died in stalls.
    always look before u buy..

i have 2 males in my tank :) they chase each other a bit but they arent overly phased about each other , also have a cascade 300 and the water movement doesnt seem to phase them either as long as there are areas of still water , plants and hiding spaces are important tho they do like those! but wow do they make a brilliant center piece fish :D
