Driftwood turning tank yellow

My driftwood just turned my tank yellow, i did soak if for about 3 days before i set my tank up, i did not put any fish in it yet, is there a way i can clear the water by adding any chemicals or do i have to change all the water in my tank.

You can also filter with charcoal ,it will go in about 3 days

 

Got some at hillfox, i have a canister filter, is it fine if i put it in there with the ceramics or charcoal or do you suggest i put it into a separate filter.

 

Thats fine. Just make sure the purigen/AC is contained in some sort of bag/sock for easy removal

how long should it take for purigen to clear up your tank.

i added the purigen about 4 days ago into my canister filter, there has been no change in the water quality, do you know why

 

try to recharge it and then putting it in

 

i just bought it and dint use it till now, do i still need to recharge it.

 

i had to same issue when i bought mine - give it a go

 

ok will do, thanx, i suppose you can use any house hold bleach to recharge am i correct.
