Dophin c500 canister filter. Advice please.

Our Dophin C500 started losing pumping pressure recently. I opened it, cleaned filter media, but no improvement. In fact it seems to be deteriorating. Any guidance will be appreciated.

 

Is the filter below the tank or on the same level?
It could possibly be an impeller issue. Try take it out, inspect the rubber endcaps on the impeller and try again.
You could also try take out the filter media and run the pump.

It is below the tank. The impeller and end caps seem fine.

Thing is, this ran beautifully for two months from new, then started deteriorating. The place who sold it to us will have the Dophin rep to have a look tomorrow as it, if an issue, must be a warranty issue.
