Well... that may be slightly melodramatic... but just in case anyone actually missed me the last couple of months - I'm Baaack.

Apologies to all for just disappearing like that, but I've been slightly indisposed for a while (a stroke, I'm told) but, fortunately for me, this time, I was able to beat off that skinny guy with the scythe. No doubt, he's going to have another go at me sometime, but not today.

While I was away, my daughter, Carol, looked after my fishies. Although she's not an experienced aquarist, she did a good job keeping my fish fed and happy. Although there were a couple of casualties, which she meticulously recorded, and there was a buildup of algae on the glass.

The best thing that happened was that my Pepper Corries produced a lone surviving youngster! He's already big enough to swim with the big fish.

My Silver Mollies have also produced another bunch of youngsters.

My guppies are still breeding like they're trying to take over the world. (I vaguely remember offering to give some away to a good home, well, the offer is still open. Just PM me again if it was to you.)

I'm really chuffed at how Carol handled things, and hope it has awakened her interest in fish keeping. Maybe she will still be converted. (Although I'm not sure how 'She who Must be Obeyed' will react to another person bringing in MORE tanks into the house)

In the meantime, I hope you all had a great Holiday season, and that the New year brings you nothing but good things. I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys, and to sticking my nose in now and again.

Good to hear that you are allright now and by the looks of your posting you are in high spirits.

Spend more time in front of your tanks mate and get rid of your frustrations and stress.

    Good to have you back.

hehe, us fishkeepers! I went for a bypass in October 2011 and scheduled the surgery around my fortnightly water changes. Did one just before going in and two weeks later I were back, giving instructions on how to do it. At 11 weeks now and doing it myself again. Must say I lost interest during that time, but it is fast coming back now!
