Dolphin sh380 slim hanging filter

Hello


Has any one ever used this filter? Due to its slim design it looked interesting. In my oppinion only for biological filtration. Your views?

 

i used one in my 60L worked well! but mine is the sh280 thou.

 

Hi @dash yes I have used 3 of them when I was breeding my bettas, really a great filter, en uses minimal space. Sorted out my water issues quickly.

Use one on my 3 ft, with 2 other filters, for my Diskus and love the filter. Only change I made was to rip the carbon part out of the cartridges and use filter wool behind it. Purely a mechanical filter for me. Only thing you need to look at is the sponge, pre filter, that needs to be cleaned often as it will affect the flow of the filter.
