 making a easy solution instead of drilling my tank.

installed it yesterdayinto the tank. Its made from 40mm pvc piping. I am now waiting for the return pump to arrive at the lps.
gettting 5000l/h pump. Was testing it with a 1500l/h and it worked great but it couldnt lift the water the high i needed. Will post pics of it in action asap.

That will be great. What is the size of your tank and sump?

lol i have seen that design but very complicated. alot more to go wrong only advantage it has is that it probably has more volume of water that can go through it.

but mine can handel 1200l/hour comfotably if you need more just make it out of 50mm pvc piping befor you start going for something that complicated. plus i think it will be more difficult to hide something like that. ill take a few pics of mine in action tonight.

 Thanks for the pics. You gave me a very good idea! I have a molded tank and did not want to drill, but neither was I very enthusiastic about the piping system's appearance. So add a corner (or a triangle with one pane of glass) and have the piping behind it.

I might just go for a sump after all...
