    Hi All

    Yesterday I purchased a T8 double ballast 3ft long.
Just one thing there is a blue and a brown cable which I suppose has to be hooked up to a electrical source.

Can someone just please tell me how I must hook this up, must u just hook it up to a two prong plug or what. So can someone just tell me the correct way to does this as it was a fair amount of money ( for my standards ) that I do not want to go to waste

In the photos below, it shows the lighting unit and the blue and brown cable.

    TIA
    Regards
    Peter

PS Sorry for bad quality :(

If you something like a old kettle or computer power cable lying around, just cut off the connector side (not the plug) and strip the cable. You should have blue and brown in there and just wire it color to color.

The yellow/green is your earth wire that needs to go to the light housing somewhere on bare metal to earth the light.

    Hope this makes sense. :blink1:

Where in N/S are you situated? I'm in Goodwood and can help after work if you close by
