Well sizing would be totally up to you... And you need to calculate what wood thickness you require....

I will cover my build when i get around to doing it step by step if you are wiling to wait.
Here's another nice idea, seems like a quick build

LiftCrazy do you think i will be abli to get a store credit for the fish
what would be the better option btween the 2, the class or the wood
but think i will wait and see how yours come along

Cool, not sure about the store giving you credit for the fish though. I would imagine that this would be up to the store... maybe give them a call to find out.

Go with wood for the cover, i think it would be lighter.
Ya, if it's not urgent wait and see how mine turns out.

BTW, What are the dimensions of your tank?

Just a note on the lighting...please correct me if I am wrong. I found that if I placed the lights near the back of the tank, the fish colours are not as distinct. i.e. the shadow is towards you...

Correct - thats why you space the lights out evenly

@Scaly - Thanks for pointing this out...

I noticed that when the lounge lights are on my fish seem more coloured up, makes sense now.
